Yesterday, Sunday Nov 6, was Race #3 (of 4) in the Anaconda Adventure Race National Series 2011. Held in Augusta again the race attracted a huge field of entrants (283 individuals, 431 teams, 1717 competitors).
The race comprised:

Team Sensation! (2nd in 2009, 3rd in 2010), with team members Roberto Busi, John Bowden,Travis England and David Hind, this time pulled off first place in the Male Team category and second overall with a time of
3:55:26 and were over 20 minutes ahead of the 2nd Male Team.
Amazingly the overall winner was an individual male, Richard Ussher, with a time of 3:55:15 and WA's Sean O'Neill (another individual entry) wasn't far behind with a very impressive time of 4:00:44 and overall 4th place.
David Hind was fastest on the Mountain Bike section with a time of 1:07:08 (28.6kph. Originally the web site showed a stunning time of 0:51:45 (37.1 kph) for Mark Salib but this turned out to be due to a glitch in the timing system.
Congratulations to all.
